Calupum is a family game for 2-4 players aged 8 and up. It takes about 30-45 minutes to play, depending on the variant (summer or winter) and the number of players.

In this video, author Adrian Dinu explains what Calupum is all about.

In Calupum, you will have to protect your flock of sheep from the dangerous wolves.
The player with the most victory points after 12 rounds wins. There are two modes of play: the easer winter mode and the more complex summer mode.

The Sheep
Your sheep graze on a green pasture full of hedges, trees, tunnels and other objects. Your ultimate goal is to keep them healthy! The hedges will help…
The Wolves

Wolves… beware of the wolves! That’s why the game is called Calupum. Cave lupum means ‘Beware of the wolf’ in Latin. If the wolf has one of your sheep in his sight, it loses one health point.

Shepherdess and Bobtail
The shepherdess and her dog, Bobtail, help the sheep wherever they can and protect them from wolves. The shepherdess tends to injured sheep, while Bobtail is full of tricks.
First Johnny
There is no first player. In Calupum there is a ‘First Johnny’. Whoever has the First Johnny starts the round. Johnny is also the beloved white pug at the Board Game Box HQ.
